The phrase as it is used by Gen Z'ers is not new. It actually started about seven years ago. I am a Gen Jones (look it up, IK no one ever heard of it but Obama did :)) and my son is Gen Z. We used to laugh at it and I don't take offense because hey, knowledge is power and since those calling "us" Hey Boomer have little of that commodity I don't care.
